Take Action is Step 5 of the NCJMM. The nurse implements the chosen intervention based on prior analysis and prioritization.

Components

  • Carry out the intervention correctly
  • Communicate effectively (SBAR, orders)
  • Delegate appropriately (five rights)
  • Document thoroughly
  • Involve interdisciplinary team

Strategy
