Take Action is Step 5 of the NCJMM. The nurse implements the chosen intervention based on prior analysis and prioritization.
Components
- Carry out the intervention correctly
- Communicate effectively (SBAR, orders)
- Delegate appropriately (five rights)
- Document thoroughly
- Involve interdisciplinary team

Strategy
